Data policy
A summary of how we handle the text you send to the KURE API. The Privacy policy and Terms of service are authoritative.
By default, we do not store your inputs
For accounts that have not allowed input storage, input text is used only to compute embeddings and is not stored. The returned vectors are not stored either.
To run the service (usage display, rate limits, incident response), we keep the following. None of it includes your text.

Allowing input storage (optional)
You can allow us to store your inputs when you sign up, or later in Dashboard → Settings. The default is not allowed.
- Purpose: Used only for research to improve Korean embedding models, including training and evaluation data. Never published or shared with third parties.
- Scope: Text you send to the API and the Playground after you allow storage. National ID, card, phone numbers and email addresses are masked before storage (names and the like may not be, so please leave personal information out).
- Retention: Deleted automatically after 180 days
- Limitation: You can delete stored text anytime, but the influence of specific text cannot be removed from a model that has already been trained.
- Benefit: 2× per-minute limits and 10× daily tokens (Limits & errors)
Without it, every feature still works with the default limits. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Withdrawing and deleting
You can do any of these at any time in Dashboard → Settings.
- Withdraw consent: Requests from then on are not stored, and your limits return to the defaults. Text already stored stays (deleted after 180 days); to remove it now, also use "Delete stored data" below.
- Delete stored data: Deletes all text stored so far. Your consent setting stays as it is.
- Delete account: Immediately deletes stored text, daily usage, and API keys, and your keys stop working at once. Request logs are deleted automatically when their 30-day retention ends.

Playground
- Input you send without signing in is never stored.
- When signed in, the Playground follows your input storage setting above.
- Vectors for documents in Mini search stay in your browser and are not kept on the server.
This policy may change during the preview. Any change will be announced first on this page and in the Privacy policy.
